How can I use Fanzeye to grow my network of fans?
- Link your Fanzeye account to a Facebook page, Twitter account or mailing list
- Upload a file to share (your band's latest song, a printable coupon, a behind the scenes video, etc.)
- Create a unique code for the offer
- Share the link online or use QR codes on printed material
Once the fan clicks your code link they will be shown a unique Fanzeye page to view
your offer and connect to one of your social networks. After verifying the
connection, the fan will be entered into your contest or be given access to your file download.
What will a fan see when they view an offer code?
Fans will see a unique Fanzeye page with your account name, a description of your offer, an optional picture,
and the social networking options you have enabled. Paid accounts can also set the background Wallpaper of the offer page.
What is a QR code?
A QR code, abbreviated for "Quick Response" is a special two-dimensional bar code capable of storing text and other
information such as URLs. QR codes can be scanned by many mobile phone bar code reader apps, and provide a great way
to quickly visit a website without typing a long address. For more details, please read the

What are Fanzeye Contests?
Contests is a great feature that allows you to easily create a giveaway.
Just like file download offers, a unique link or QR image will be generated for you to distribute.
When fans connect to your social networks, they are automatically entered into the contest. When it ends you can login to your
account and pick as many winners from the entries as you like.
Subscription Plans
What are the subscription options?
We have some great plans available, including a completely free option. See the
registration page for details on each plan.
What is the difference between Public Download codes and Single-Use Download codes?
Public codes are used to distribute to many people. Post Public codes on Twitter, Facebook, or
print a QR image on a poster or flyer. Single-Use codes are used to send to individual people. Include a
unique Single-Use code with each copy of your vinyl record to offer a free digital download of the album.
What counts as a Fan Connection?
A Fan Connection is counted when a fan joins your social networks for access to your offer. All connections
are counted except from Single-Use codes. If a fan is already a member of your social network they will also be counted for each offer they claim.
What is an Web Link code?
Web Links allow you to create a code linked directly to any URL you choose.
When a fan scans or enters these special codes, they will be
directed right to your URL. Use this when you want to create a QR image which links to a
website for use on printed materials.
Will fans see advertisements?
With a paid accounts you will have the option to set your own custom Wallpapers to be used as backgrounds for your offers.
If no custom Wallpaper is specified or you are using a free account, either a default Fanzeye Wallpaper or an advertisement Wallpaper will be shown.
What is the Custom Mailing List option?
There are two types of Mailing List options available with the paid subscription plans. Both will allow
fans to enter their email address for access to your offer. The Standard
Mailing List option will store email addresses for you and let you export them as a spreadsheet.
The Custom Mailing List option gives you the ability to send the mailing list data to your own server. The data is sent via an HTTP GET.
Just specify the URL of your server page that will accept the data, and the name of your query string parameters for email address
and postal code. When a fan signs up, the data will be sent to your URL in the format you provided. Please

My Account
How do I activate my subscription plan?
After signing up, choose a subscription plan on the
Account page.
The Free subscription plan will be immediately active.
For other options with a monthly fee, you will be redirected to PayPal to enter
your payment information securely. Once the payment has been verified your Fanzeye account will
automatically update with the new plan.
How do I change my subscription?
On the
Account page, select a new subscription plan.
If your new subscription choice has a monthly fee, you will be redirected to PayPal to confirm the change.
Once the PayPal transaction has been verified, your Fanzeye account will be automatically updated.
What types of files can I upload?
With any of the subscription plans you can upload a single file including mp3s, PDFs, or movies. Pro
subscribers also have the option to upload compressed files (such as .zip) which allows you to
share multiple files with a single offer.
How many codes can I create each month?
There is no limit on the number of codes that you can create each month. However
the number of allowed Fan Connections per month varies for each
subscription plan.
What if my account exceeds the limit of Fan Connections for the month?
If the number of Fan Connections exceeds your subscription limit for the month,
your existing codes will be suspended until:
- Your limit is reset on the first of the following month or
- You upgrade to a subscription plan with a higher limit
Fans attempting to access your codes when you have exceeded the limit will see a message that the code has expired.
How do I cancel my subscription?
On the
Account page, select the "Cancel Subscription" option
under Subscription Plan to cancel. You will be redirected to PayPal to confirm. Alternatively, you can
login directly to your PayPal account and cancel there. Once the notification of your
cancellation is received, all codes created from your account will be shown as expired. Please email us
